Sur Ron Ultra Bee Sirris F43 Forks

If you’re looking to completely change your Sur Ron Ultra Bee in the handling department, you’ve come to the right place.  If you’ve watched any of our videos or read any of our posts, you already know that we’re nuts for this bike.  In our eyes, the most pressing shortcoming after the wheelset is the suspension.  The factory’s 37 mm fork works well given the price point, but aggressive riding quickly shows its flaws.  The fork flexes in corners and bottoms easily if you weigh over 200 lbs and/or ride aggressively.  The good folks at Sirris heard the call and answered with their F43 fork.  Designed in the USA by engineers and technicians who have supported motorsports at the highest levels, this upgrade will transform your bike.  If you race your Ultra Bee or just find that you’re outriding the forks, keep reading.  This fork is available in multiple configurations with unique tuning:

1. Trail – The most versatile tune with 246 mm of travel.  Sporty and supportive, designed for going fast over a wide variety of terrain.  This is what we run on our Ultra Bee and is our primary recommendation for most riders.
2. MX – A 246 mm motocross-specific tune with balance, control, and bottoming resistance for the fastest speeds.  Firmly tuned for maximum control and support for huge jumps, whoops, and fast cornering.  Sacrifices trail plushness for improved bottoming resistance.
3. SX – Developed in conjunction with Josh Hill to deliver ultimate performance for riders who push the limits.  Extended 260 mm travel with firmer damping and spring rates, a reinforced bottom out circuit and increased oil volume.

Regardless of tune, these forks are a true symmetrical closed cartridge.  Unlike the factory forks that cavitate and fade, these forks will remain consistent and predictable.  This means that the mid-ride arm pump you fought through when the factory fork firmed up will be a distant memory.  They also incorporate a hydraulic bump stop to deliver a soft landing at max stroke on even the most aggressive impacts.  Seriously, we’ve yet to bottom this fork on even our most ham-fisted mistakes!

• Adjustable for compression damping, rebound damping,  and (internal) spring preload.
• Dual oil circuits allow for optimized high and low speed damping.
• Hard anodized 7000 series aluminum used in cartridges and outer tubes to increase durability and scratch resistance.
