If your bike exhibits ‘ticky’ behavior around 4,000 RPM, your cam chain tensioner (CCT) may need attention. Yamaha has been through a few revisions of their part and some bikes continue to be bothersome. If you have one of these bikes, the APE manual cam chain tensioner is for you. The kit includes everything you’ll need to complete the installation. Be aware that this part will require periodic adjustment as the cam chain wears!
