The T7 is a pretty epic ride from the factory. While it works very well in a wide variety of environments, and can do just about all of it, it can use a little bit of refinement around the edges. If you’re looking to improve the plushness on the road while still handling general purpose off-roading, look no further. Considerable research and development has been conducted on this kit with thousands of miles of asphalt, dirt, gravel, and trail testing.

Looking around at front suspension options for the T7, I knew that I didn’t want to go the whole cartridge route since multiple suspension shops have said the basics are here – they just need tuning. I considered the KTech setup, but would’ve still paid somebody to install and these came with the knowledge that the shop doing the install were the same people who’d developed and tuned and could tweak for my weight. Plus it was a bit cheaper!
So far I’m delighted. Front end now goes around corners on pavement “like it’s on rails”, even with a swap to AX41 knobbies. Deflection no longer exists, tracking straight through potholes, big downhill bumps, whatever. If the T7 came from the factory like this, people would be praising it as astonishingly set up for a production bike.
This + a reworked rear will run you less than most aftermarket shocks. Talk about value for money!
