If you’re looking to upgrade the forks on your 2014-2016 FZ-09, 2015+ FJ-09, or 2016+ XSR900, look no further. We took our popular 20 mm Fork Piston Kit and pre-built a stock cartridge so that you don’t need to worry about tearing into your own, finding a trusted local shop to do your dirty work, or enduring excessive downtime . If you can follow the factory service manual to remove the factory cartridge, this is a job you can handle! Kit includes:
- Pre-valved stock cartridge – drop-in ready
- Fork oil
- Cartridge bolt crush washer
- Stoltec Moto fork leg decals
- (Optional) Drop-in fork springs
- (Optional) SKF ‘Green’ Fork Seals – reduced stiction w/ increased service life

Heard good things about Stoltec Moto and opted to purchase this drop-in kit over the DIY valving kit to minimize my bike’s downtime. I had been debating what, if any, suspension upgrade to get and I am very happy with this product. I went with stiffer springs at the same time and have a noticeably more planted ride with much less fork dive on breaking.
I decided on this kit over more expensive options because I primarily ride on the street (no track) and didn’t want to break the bank. Commuting is more comfortable, cornering is more confident, and I didn’t have to spend thousands to get there.

What a great kit, service and price! This kit reduces down time and it ships fast. I opted for the stiffer springs and Nick was super helpful along the way. I also opted for the loaner tools option and I think that tells you all you need to know about how dedicated Stoltec is. Kit cannot be beaten imho.
